This policy explains what information BinoChat collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the BinoChat mobile app and any related services.
Account details you give us: your name, username, email address, and optionally a profile photo, bio, and country. Content you create: posts, comments, text and voice messages, stories, photos, and reactions. A notification token so we can deliver push notifications to your device. Basic technical and usage data needed to run the service, such as device type, app version, approximate (country-level) location, which profiles you view, and diagnostics if the app has a problem.
To run and secure your account, deliver your posts and messages to the people you choose, and fix problems. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private messages for advertising.
We rely on a few trusted providers to run BinoChat: Google Firebase for sign-in (including Google Sign-In) and push notifications; Cloudflare to securely store and deliver your content; and Google AdMob to show ads. These providers process data only to provide their part of the service, under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.
BinoChat is free and supported by ads shown through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID and limited data such as your approximate (non-precise) location and how you use the app. When you first open the app you can choose personalised or non-personalised ads, and you can change that choice any time from Settings > Account > Ad preferences. We never place ads inside private chats, and we never share your private messages, contacts, or password with advertisers. Your data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers. We limit who can access it. When you delete your account we remove your content as described below; some data may remain briefly in backups before it is erased. Note: private messages are protected in transit and at rest but are not end-to-end encrypted.
You can view and edit your information in Settings at any time, download a copy of your data, deactivate your account temporarily, or delete it permanently. Deleting your account removes your posts, comments, and messages within 30 days.
BinoChat is not intended for anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove it. See our Child Safety Standards.
